Sources
Practical details such as fees, hours, permits, closures and seasonal conditions come from official sources first: park services, transport operators and local authorities. We link to them in a Sources section where relevant.
Updates
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We re-check time-sensitive details on a regular schedule and when we learn something has changed.
Corrections
We correct verified mistakes and note material changes.

Affiliate relationships do not decide what we recommend. See our affiliate disclosure.
First-hand experience
We only describe a place as personally visited when that is true, and we label the difference between first-hand reporting and research.
